Red Ridge Farms Danielle + Jeff 8/2/2014

by Alicia Goodell on 08/20/14

Danielle + Jeff contacted me while living in California, planning their wedding at the beautfiul Red Ridge Farm in Dayton, OR. Danielle's vision for decor was exquisite and we were thrilled to be a part of their special day. Danielle and Jeff were so easy to work with and such a wonderful couple to see get married. Below is a few photos provided by the brillant Mosca Studio. Alice and Josh of Mosca Studio are completely and udderly fantastic. Hands down one of the best photographers in Oregon.

Working with such wonderful vendors is what sets the Oregon Wedding Community apart from the norm. Our community of vendors are seeing a lot of couples traveling to Oregon to get married from other states and internationally. Thank you to all the vendors involved and a huge thank you to Danielle and Jeff!!

Grunge shoot!

by Alicia Goodell on 07/16/13

I am finally getting back in the blogging game. If I was ever in it actually:) With the juggles of parenting and running a business I have definitely let blogging slack. So I am slowly going to be catching up on past long over due events that should have been blogged ages ago.

First I will start with a styled shoot that was collaborated with wonderful wedding professionals here in Portland. Our styled Grunge shoot was modeled so gracefully by the wonderful Solomon Trimble. An Oregon native who has starred in many films including the very popular Twilight Sage. Solomon is Lakota Native American and participates in his native cultural dance, activities and works with NARA and helping troubled youth within the community. Paired with Solomon, our other model is the beautiful, stunning Carmen Selam. Another proud Native American who is from beautiful Toppenish, WA and is a member of the Yakima Tribe. She too is highly involved with her heritage and community. She also has a pretty nice modeling portfolio going and I feel she is going to thrive in that industry.

This shoot was to sow Portland grunge side and to showcase the talents of these awesome vendors involved. Thank you Black Label Event Films, MANDALENA Jewelry, Human Beauty,  Puddle Jumpin Cards, Events by Lisa Marie, Erica Ann Photography and Fine art and Voodoo Dounut. And friends this should have been posted a long time ago. Enjoy!

Annie + Cameron 8/6/12

by Alicia Goodell on 03/12/12

This wedding had to be one of my favorites by far. When Annie emailed me with her idea of bouquet creation I immediately got sucked in by the creativity. I always love a challenge and when she said all succulents, pods, wood, moss with a hint of white floral, I was all about it. Annie's main theme influence was the succulent, which has gained great popularity among brides and grooms for their floral decor. Annie had decided on live planters for their guest centerpieces and wanted her bouquet and Cameron's boutonniere to reflect that.

Their venue was on private property just at the base of Mt. Hood. A gorgeous natural setting to display Annie and Cameron celebration. Tree House Photography came all the way from Montana to photograph Annie and Cameron's special day. And to much my appreciation they were able to capture the creations I did for this lovely couple to share with all of you. Tree House Photography did a fantastic job! Enjoy!!!

Skamania Lodge Wedding 8/11/2011

by Alicia Goodell on 03/07/12

Getting caught up on blogging seems to be a never ending task. But I will be delightled to proactively start with a very beautiful wedding done up at the lovely Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Wa. This venue has so much to offer any couple wanting a rustic yet exquisite place to celebrate their love. And one of the sweetest brides allowed me to share in her big day. With a blue + white floral pallet, Jessica Baudendistel did a fabulous job creating her dream wedding. From the beauftiful yet classy calla lilies to the white hydrangea birchwood filled aisle decor, these wedding florals turned out so lovely. I was fortunate enough to work with the amazing Amelia Armstrong photography to share with all of you the special moments of this amazing day in Skamania county. Thank you Jessica!  Enjoy...
